Mridula Baljekar is the best-selling author of a number of Indian cookbooks, including 500 Indian and Curry. One of her books won the Gourmand World Cookbook Award in the category of Best Asian Cookbook in the World. She contributes regularly to various magazines and newspapers in the UK, Australia and her native India. She teaches Indian cookery in various cookery schools in the UK and her lecture demonstrations in the US have been highly popular. As well as having done numerous television and radio shows, Mridula is also a consultant to a leading spice manufacturing company. Mridula has now launched 'Mridula's Pure & Fresh', a range of exotic chutneys, cooking sauces and ready meals, using only fresh farm ingredients with no artificial additives.
